Searching with MeSH using Medline/OVID

, which provides a short summary of each MeSH and important historical notes. - If none of the recommended MeSH are appropriate for your search term you can search for your exact search term as a keyword. For example, none of the above search terms fit "ice cream headache" so therefore a key word search "ice cream headache" is advisable. A keyword search searches for "ice cream headache" in the subject heading field, abstract, title, original title, and name of substance fields. Search by keyword by selecting the final option in the list of MeSH.
